DAY TO DAY ITINERARY
DAY 01: MANADO ARRIVAL – TANGKOKO NATURE RESERVE (Meal : Dinner)
Upon arrival at Sam Ratulangi International Airport, you will be picked up and meeting service by our guides. Drive to Tangkoko for two hours to reach Tangkoko Nature Reserve. Arrive in Tangkoko, welcome drink with fresh coconut, check in at Home Stay. If time allow we can have afternoon trekking(latest on 17:00) to reach the Tarsiers’ nest by the time they leave their nest for their nocturnal activities. Dinner in Home Stay with grilled fish and delicious dishes.
DAY 02: TANGKOKO EXPLORE – MINAHASA HIGHLAND – TOMOHON (Meals: Lunch, Dinner)
Wake up very early, we have hot tea and coffee. Begin trekking before sunrise, early in the morning to the jungle to see the Tarsier Spectrum set back home after their nocturnal activities. As well as some groups of Macaca Nigra move around the forest for their morning activities.
Return to Homestay for breakfast and shower. After breakfast we will check out the hotel and leaving Tangkoko. We then proceed to the highland of Minahasa with some stop at ancient Tomb of Minahasa People (Giant Stone Ages), and the historical World War II Japanese Tunnel System. Lunch will be in a restaurant by the Tondano Lake. After lunch we will enjoy the wonderful lake scenery from the Urongo On Hill Tree House. The journey continue to visit the hot spring and pine forest of Lampasan before chilling down at the beautiful multi color of Linaw Lake to enjoy the afternoon in cozy restaurant by the lake sipping coffee with traditional famous snack of Pisang Goreng (fried banana) and another traditional cookies. Tonight we spend the night in a nice hotel in this cool town of Tomohon and dinner in a local restaurant with traditional Minahasa cuisine with the view of Manadocity.
DAY 03: TOMOHON – MAHAWU – TRADITIONAL MARKET – MANADO (Meals: Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast at hotel, we start the tour visiting the traditional market of Tomohon where there is a section of the market called as Extreme Market where we can see many kind of mammals and reptiles sold as Minahasan delicacy. We then proceed to Mt. Mahawu crater. 10 minutes trekking to the top of the crater we will enjoying magnificent view of cities of Tomohon and Manado and the islands beyond. We then visit the centre of knock-down Traditional house industry with some stop at Pagoda Budhist Temple with the flowers plantation surround. After lunch in Tomohon, we move down to the coastal town of Manado with some stop at iconic Jesus Blessing Statue, Ban hin Kiong Temple in China town and Second World War Monument . Tonight we spend the night in a nice hotel in Manado. Dinner in a restaurant with beach view.
DAY 04: CITY TOUR – DEPARTURE
At the appropriate time you will be transferred to the airport for your flight. If time allow then we will make a stop in town for souvenir shopping. ( Meal : Breakfast )
